About Me

Hello! I’m so glad you found me. My name is Natalie, and this is my journey of living way below the poverty line of America, on Food Stamps, and other government aid programs. I am passionate about healthy living, I have a husband who has fibromyalgia and depression, a child who is gluten and dairy free, and 3 other children! Here I am finding hope, in what many times feels like a hopeless situation, relying on God to carry us through day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year.

I love sewing and cooking, and creating new dishes. Having to cook for a gluten and dairy free child has pushed my creativity to the max as I try to keep meals as cheap as possible, without having to make separate dishes for each member of the family. Here is your fair warning, I rarely measure when I am creating, so my recipes will end up being more like guide lines!

This is my journey

Welcome to my journey of finding hope in a very messy life. Trying to live healthy for my family with chronic illness and food intolerances… all while living below the poverty line. Click here to learn more about me.
